Sharjah 24 – Reuters: At least six Palestinians were killed in separate incidents across the occupied West Bank on Thursday, including militant fighters and an 80-year-old woman shot by Israeli forces, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
The deaths add to the mounting toll in the West Bank since the Gaza war began over a year ago, triggering escalating violence that has claimed hundreds of Palestinian lives and dozens of Israelis.
In Tulkarm, northern West Bank, an Israeli airstrike killed four Palestinians in a vehicle. The Tulkarm Brigade, an alliance of militant factions, confirmed they were fighters and vowed continued resistance. The Israeli military confirmed a joint operation with Shin Bet in Tulkarm but provided no further details.
In a separate incident, Israeli troops raided the Balata refugee camp near Nablus, where they shot and killed two Palestinians, including the elderly woman. The Israeli military has not yet commented on this incident.
