Awards included the category of the distinguished employee, the employee with the highest sales, a number of awards for distinguished facilities and departments, and honouring employees who spent 15 years in the service of the club.
The ceremony began with a short video telling the stories of the club's employees' success and dedication.
Her Excellency Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club praised the efforts made by all employees, stressing that the club's success would not have been possible without their dedication and continuous work, with the support and guidance of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club.
Al Serkal stated that the club achieved this success, applying the best practices to enhance its position, and making innovative strategic decisions aimed at enhancing the status of women in society and achieving sustainable development.
Al Serkal added that the club developed its strategic plan for 2024 to 2026, to overcome previous challenges so that the club remains the ideal destination for women, providing an atmosphere of privacy, security and luxury, creating an attractive environment that meets women's needs, and providing the best services in various fields such as health, hospitality, beauty, arts and self-development, in addition to raising the efficiency of financial resources, developing human talents, and enhancing the institutional reputation and effective role in society.
Al Serkal confirmed that since its establishment, Sharjah Ladies Club has been keen to develop its methodology, relying on its creative employees, and building leaders capable of facing challenges and achieving its strategic goals, through workshops and training programmes. These programmes aimed to develop leadership skills and competencies, which have been ongoing since 2011, where 25 employees graduated from the Future Leaders Preparation Programme for the year 2024, fully confident that the club will continue to make more achievements thanks to its distinguished team.
Her Excellency noted the importance of applying the best practices in corporate governance and its impact on achieving the club’s goals, raising its media status, and reaping many awards and titles. The club won the title of Health Champion for the third time in a row at the World Health Weekend event; the award of the leading emirate in outstanding financial performance; and the award of “Best Hair and Beauty Salon for the year 2024” for Orchid Beauty Boutique.
During the ceremony, a number of distinguished employees were honoured to motivate them towards better performance and add a spirit of positive competition, as their diverse and distinguished efforts contributed to enhancing the prominent presence of the club and the community.
The honouring included several award categories, including the Distinguished Employee Award in Performance, Distinguished Management Award in Performance, Distinguished Branch Award in Performance, and Long Service Employees who have spent 15 years and have excelled in serving the club with dedication and loyalty.
All attendees expressed their happiness with this honour, stressing their full commitment to continue making efforts and striving to achieve more successes and accomplishments.
