Sharjah24 – AFP: At the United Nations General Assembly, the Palestinian envoy calls for a ceasefire while the Israeli envoy demands that UNRWA, the UN agency supporting Palestinian refugees, be dismantled. "The horror in Gaza must end," says the UN General Assembly president, Philemon Yang.
Commenting on this, Philemon Yang, UN General Assembly president stated, "More than 43,000 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 100,000 injured, most of them civilians, women and children. About 100 hostages still remain in captivity. The horror in Gaza must end, excellencies."

Riyad Mansour, Palestine's UN representative said, "Every hour, every day, more Palestinian children, women and men fall victim to this depraved Israeli onslaught."

The Palestine's UN representative added, "There is only one way to stop this genocide and to save lives and to free prisoners and hostages and to preserve the hope of a different future. We all know this. It is an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire. It is what we have been calling for every day for 14 months."
