Organised by the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation in cooperation with the Ras Al Khaimah International Marine Sports Club, the championship saw participation from 50 athletes across several clubs, including Al Hamriyah, Abu Dhabi Marine Sports, Ras Al Khaimah International Marine Sports, Dubai Police, and Sharjah Women's Sports Clubs.
Al Hamriyah's Hamad Saeed Al Matroushi and Ahmed Khamis clinched first and third places, respectively, in the 2000m individual races, while Faisal Ayoub from Dubai Police took second.
In the Under 19 category, Al Hamriyah's Sultan Ahmed, Zayed Saif, and Fahad Adel won first place in the 2000m race. The club also dominated the Under 17 categories, with Hamad Amer, Hamad Al Hosani, and Salem Al Mansouri sweeping the top three spots in both the 1000m and 500m events.
Dubai Police secured first and second in the Under 23 2000m competition, and Al Hamriyah’s Saif Al Matroushi took third. In the Men’s 500m category, Farshad Ibrahim from Abu Dhabi Club came in first, followed by Mohammed Riyad and Suleiman Shalabi.
Sharjah Women's Sports Club also impressed, with Bushra Ibrahim, Shawq Al Mansouri, and Shamsa Al Sheryani sweeping the top three places in the Under 19 500m event, and Hamda Ibrahim, Mira Al Ali, and Amira Rashid taking the top three spots in the women’s 500m competition.
Mohammed Abdullah Al Obaidli, Secretary-General of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation, praised the event's success, noting the championship's role in promoting more competitions and aligning with the goals of the International Rowing Federation.
