SWSF concludes third shooting amateur challenge

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation (SWSF) concluded the third edition of the Shooting Amateur Challenge, which attracted 110 participants across various age groups, showcasing the event’s success in fostering sports and community engagement.
Held in celebration of Eid Al Etihad, the challenge blended sports competitions with national festivities, offering a platform for amateur athletes to develop their skills.

In the women’s individual category, Dalal Al Harmoudi claimed first place, followed by Aisha Al Mannai and Fatima Al Shamsi in second and third. In the junior category, Yasmine Kashwani took first place, with Shahd Rashid and Maria Al Yasi securing second and third.

A new mother-daughter category was introduced, with Mariam Al Shamsi and Alia Al Marzouqi winning first place. Aisha Ismail Al Hosani and Mahra Hassan Al Naqbi placed second, while Amal Al Obaidli and Rawda Al Hammadi came third.

Noura Al Hamar, Head of Community Sports, highlighted the importance of the new category in promoting family and community involvement in sports.

Mariam Kashwani, Community Sports Executive, expressed pride in the participants' commitment and competitive spirit, emphasising the Foundation’s ongoing dedication to innovative and inclusive sports events.
