Sharjah24: His Excellency Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority (SAIF Zone), stated that December 2 is a red-letter day in the nation’s history. A day when we proudly recall the extraordinary journey led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his visionary brothers, who dedicated their lives to uniting the UAE under one goal: the Union, which has grown into a global symbol of progress, prosperity, and civilisation.
Al Mazrouei stressed that this enduring legacy reflects the determination and unity of the UAE’s wise leadership, which continues to build on the foundation laid by the founding fathers. Thanks to their efforts, the UAE today is fast moving towards the future, aiming to become the best country in the world by 2071.
His Excellency extended his heartfelt congratulations to the wise leadership on the occasion, lauding the UAE’s remarkable achievements across economic, social, and developmental fields, which have positioned it prominently among the world’s most advanced and prosperous countries.
He emphasised that these accomplishments would not have been possible had it not been for the visionary directives of the leadership, which set the stage for the country’s progress and positioned it as a leader on local, regional, and global fronts. The UAE’s accomplishments were made possible also by the concerted efforts of Emirati people, whose commitment has driven the development of all sectors and bolstered the country’s economic growth.
His Excellency Al Mazrouei added: "Today, as we celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the Union founding, we reaffirm our commitment to making every possible effort to realise the directives of our wise leadership and contribute to bringing the goals of the “We the UAE 2031” vision to fruition, aspiring to achieve significant economic growth across all sectors."
