Al-Nahwa celebrates the 53rd Eid Al Etihad

Sharjah24: On Saturday, the residents of Al Nahwa, part of Khorfakkan, came together to celebrate the 53rd Eid Al Etihad in their historic neighborhood. The event was attended by a large number of officials, representatives from government departments and institutions, as well as a significant gathering of local residents.
Abdullah Khalfan Al Naqbi, Wali of Al Nahwa, offered his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Rulers of the Emirates on the occasion of this momentous celebration.

In statements to “Sharjah 24,” Al Naqbi remarked that Eid Al Etihad holds a special place in the hearts of all citizens and residents. It is a time to reflect on our rich heritage and vibrant present, while also nurturing the values of loyalty and belonging among the younger generations.

Al Naqbi highlighted the transformation of the Nahwa area into a modern and developed community, equipped with all necessary services and facilities, thanks to the generous support from the wise leadership aimed at enhancing all regions.

He noted that the occasion spurred the organization of a grand celebration in the old neighborhood, attended by notable figures such as Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Advisor at the Ruler’s Office, Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, Dr. Abdullah Sulaiman Al Kabouri, Director of Sharjah Districts Affairs Department, along with several other officials and representatives from various government bodies.

A diverse crowd from different cities and regions of Sharjah took part in the festivities, which featured traditional dances and songs, artistic exhibitions, workshops, and competitions. Attendees were also delighted to receive gifts in celebration of the occasion.
