In attendance were prominent figures including Dr. Abdulaziz bin Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Hospital and Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, alongside His Excellency Khalid Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club, members of the investment company, and the Executive Director of the University Hospital.
The agreement outlines that the hospital will provide comprehensive medical solutions and care for the players, including medical evaluations before competitions, as well as necessary treatment and ongoing care.
As part of the contract, the hospital’s logo will feature on the jerseys of the first football team for the 2024/2025 sports season, alongside logos from the Sharjah Airport Free Zone (SAIF Zone) and Zulal Water.
Engineer Ibrahim Mohammed Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Investment Company, remarked during the press conference, “Sharjah Club is committed to enhancing collaboration frameworks and achieving mutual benefits, particularly since the medical field plays a vital role in sports by supporting all stakeholders involved.”
Dr. Abdulaziz Al Muhairi also commended the strong partnership between the hospital and one of the UAE's most esteemed clubs. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to the club for the handball team’s success in winning the Asian Championship, affirming that the hospital is dedicated to providing all necessary services to the club and everything related to sports.
