Sharjah24: Under the patronage and in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) participated in the 11th edition of the Sharjah International Travel and Tourism Forum. Organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) at Expo Centre Sharjah, the forum brought together a distinguished group of experts and industry leaders to discuss the latest trends in the travel and tourism sector.
Sharjah Airport's participation reaffirmed its pivotal role as a key driver of tourism and economic growth in Sharjah. The airport serves as an integral part of Sharjah's tourism ecosystem and a strategic gateway connecting the emirate of Sharjah to the world, further enhancing Sharjah's status as a global destination for sustainable tourism.

During the forum, Sharjah Airport highlighted its major development projects and innovative services, including the latest smart technologies implemented in operational processes. The airport also showcased details of its future expansion project, which aims to increase the terminal's capacity to accommodate 25 million passengers annually by the end of 2027.
