Sharjah 24: His Excellency Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club (SIMSC), announced the unveiling of the club's first Formula boat during its participation in the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS)2024, held from November 21 to 24 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Al Dhafra Region.
Al Hosani emphasised that this achievement showcases the club's commitment to promoting Formula sports in the region, strengthening its position as a leader in marine sports.
He highlighted that the boat is a locally produced marvel, featuring advanced technologies and high-speed capabilities, designed with lightweight yet durable materials such as carbon fiber and carbon titanium. This not only boosts performance and fuel efficiency but also ensures clean energy use, making the boat competitive on the international stage.
The director general of SIMSC also expressed gratitude to the organisers of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show for their efforts in hosting a successful event.
