As part of this vibrant season filled with diverse activities, a series of cultural events were held on November 12 and 14, attracting a large audience. These events took place at the Child Center in Al Qarayen and at Sheikh Saeed Al Qasimi House in Kalba, featuring exhibitions showcasing the works of participants from the Quarter Century institutions in reading programs within the literature and languages track, conducted throughout the year. One of the highlights was "A Story in a Bottle," which included a model representing stories that had been read and recorded by participants after a series of workshops in creative writing and voice performance.
Additionally, as part of the "Let’s Create a Story" program, participants designed 12 gateways as artistic outputs for the stories they had read, which received positive feedback from the audience.
Moreover, the audio books program enabled participants to learn about all aspects of producing youth books, from research and writing to illustration and book design, culminating in the audio recording presented as an audio book of their creative stories.
It is noteworthy that the events showcased participants' talents in storytelling through engaging narratives, reciting poetry, and performing theatrical presentations of various stories, including "Friends in Space" and "The Carrot and Her Ten Siblings," among other interactive performances that conveyed human values aimed at raising awareness among children and youth, enhancing their skills and abilities, and enriching their knowledge in the field of literary writing.
This season targets age groups from 6 to nearly 30 years old, exposing them to the outputs of programs in theater, performance arts, music, cinema, visual arts, and literature.
