Sharjah24: During the 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), “Sharjah24” welcomed Saudi novelist Hazam bin Rashid, recognised for his literary contributions that focus on social and humanitarian themes within the Arab world. Bin Rashid showcased his latest work, The Mysterious Room, and offered valuable insights into the art of writing novels centred around intriguing themes.
In an interview with “Sharjah24”, bin Rashid shared his excitement for taking part in the Sharjah International Book Fair, where he will showcase his new novel. Having wrote eleven literary works, several of which have been adapted into television series, he continues to be a prominent figure at book fairs around the world.
Bin Rashid emphasised that his works consistently explore social and humanitarian issues present in Arab society, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia. He seeks to engage readers through a distinctive storytelling approach rich in suspense and intrigue.
In the Mysterious Room, he shared that readers are in for an intriguing journey with psychologist "Budour" delves into unusual cases and uncovers hidden secrets within her clinic. These experiences are narrated through the character of Matar offering a mysterious and thought-provoking narrative experience. Bin Rashid hopes the novel will connect deeply with readers.
