Sharjah 24: His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, emphasised the importance of transparency and objectivity in shaping a reliable image of the UAE, during his participation in the session "The Reputation of the UAE... We Are All Responsible" at the UAE Government Annual Meetings.
Allay highlighted that clear, factual communication plays a crucial role in presenting a comprehensive and trustworthy portrayal of the UAE, stressing the need for unified media messages to reflect the nation's achievements and development efforts.
He also pointed out that Sharjah's media focus is on promoting the emirate's cultural identity, social diversity, and sustainable development, while also showcasing its environmental initiatives, tourism potential, and business opportunities.
The session featured key figures, including Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, and Saeed Al Eter, Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office.
They discussed how national media strategies strengthen the UAE’s positive global reputation and its role in fostering media partnerships regionally and internationally.
