Sharjah 24: Coinciding with the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), the Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer) announced its upcoming workshop titled "Basics of Writing Stories" as part of its writing programme (Medad). The workshop will provide an opportunity for writing enthusiasts to develop their skills in literary and creative expression.
The workshop will be held on November 17 from 1 pm to 4 pm at Multaqa 3 at Expo Sharjah. It will introduce participants to the basics of story writing, including identifying the main idea, creating realistic characters, building an exciting plot, and developing an attractive ending.
Khalid Al Nakhi, Director of Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer), said: "This workshop comes as an extension of our firm commitment to enhancing the creative skills of young people. Through the 'Medad' programme, we seek to provide participants with a unique opportunity to discover their writing abilities and hone their talents under the supervision of an elite group of experts in the field of literature."
He added: "Creative writing is not just a tool for expression, but a means of building bridges between thought and culture, enriching the literary scene and guiding generations towards inherent creativity and a unique literary identity."
