Sharjah24: In the midst of Washington's urging for a swift resolution to the conflict, Israel escalated its airstrikes on Lebanon. The Israeli Air Force conducted extensive bombing in Beirut's southern suburbs on Monday night. This occurred shortly after US envoy Amos Hochstein stated in the Lebanese capital that the United States aimed to expedite the cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. Thirteen airstrikes targeted Beirut, one of which struck near Lebanon's largest government hospital, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including a child, as reported by Lebanese authorities.
The Israeli Air Force conducted aggressive airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on the night spanning Monday and Tuesday. This action occurred shortly after US envoy Amos Hochstein expressed the United States' desire to promptly resolve the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah during his visit to the Lebanese capital.

The nocturnal military operations ensued subsequent to the Israeli armed forces' declaration of having conducted airstrikes on approximately 300 Hezbollah targets within Lebanon in the preceding 24 hours. This escalation of the aerial campaign encompassed the targeting of the Al-Qard Al-Hassan financial institution.

On Monday night, thirteen Israeli airstrikes were directed at the southern suburbs of Beirut. One of these strikes targeted the vicinity of the largest Lebanese government hospital, resulting in four fatalities, including a child, as reported by Lebanese authorities.

According to a security source, the runway of Middle East Airlines was altered following an Israeli airstrike in close proximity to Beirut International Airport, which is located near the southern suburbs of Beirut.

The recent military operations occurred subsequent to the announcement by the Israeli army regarding its targeted strikes on numerous locations in Lebanon. These strikes were conducted with the aim of undermining Hezbollah's financial infrastructure, and included the seizure of a significant amount of cash and gold stored in a hidden location
