Sharjah 24: Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman, attended the launch of new digital payment solutions by the Department of Finance in collaboration with First Abu Dhabi Bank and Magnati.
This initiative allows for government and non-government payments through the "Ajman Payment" platform, with His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department, also present.
The launch coincides with the Department of Finance's participation in GITEX Global 2024 and aims to enhance digital life in Ajman in line with the emirate's vision for a digital future.
Key features include the updated "Ajman Payment Wallet," which allows secure payments for government service fees and other services, with a charging capacity of up to one million dirhams. Additionally, the "Sahala Card" was introduced as a prepaid card linked to the wallet, enabling easy payment of service fees.
The Sahala Card, valid for five years, can be recharged through First Abu Dhabi Bank ATMs and service centers in Ajman, and it is compatible with the Visa network, providing a suitable alternative for low-income individuals.
The "Ajman Payment" platform aims to streamline payment processes and encourage a cashless economy without additional service fees for transactions. The Department of Finance is showcasing its initiatives at the Ajman Government Pavilion during GITEX Technology Week 2024, which runs until October 18, highlighting its commitment to digital transformation and community happiness.
