Ajman Ruler welcomes Human Resources and Emiratisation Minister

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, received Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, at the Emiri Court, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council.

Strengthening government-ministry partnership

The meeting focused on enhancing the partnership between the Government of Ajman and the Ministry, particularly in developing national talent and supporting the UAE labour market.

Supporting Emiratisation and labour development

His Highness Sheikh Humaid welcomed the Minister and expressed the Government of Ajman's support for federal initiatives aimed at enhancing the national labour system, achieving Emiratisation goals, empowering Emiratis across key sectors, in line with UAE Vision 2031

Acknowledging ministry’s efforts

The Ruler praised the Ministry's work in developing labour policies and regulations, creating an attractive working environment, and attracting talent and encouraging citizens to enter diverse career fields.

Education and Emiratisation: A path to sustainable development

His Highness Sheikh Humaid emphasized that integrating education and Emiratisation is crucial for sustainable development. He highlighted the role of higher education institutions in Ajman, particularly Ajman University, in producing academically and practically qualified graduates for the evolving labour market.

Youth as a pillar of national growth

The Ruler affirmed that investing in youth is a cornerstone of national progress, describing national talent as the true wealth of the UAE’s future.

Crown Prince of Ajman emphasises continued collaboration

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stressed the need for ongoing coordination between Ajman’s government and the Ministry to advance human development and Emiratisation efforts, in support of the country’s comprehensive and sustainable development goals.

Success of Emiratisation in the private sector

The Crown Prince highlighted the achievements of the Nafis initiative, noting that over 6,700 Ajman nationals have joined the private sector across the UAE. He also pointed out the remarkable rise in Emirati women’s participation, which now stands at 70%, demonstrating their growing contribution to the nation's development.
