During the meeting, discussions centered on strengthening digital infrastructure and enhancing cybersecurity capabilities in alignment with UAE national priorities. H.H. Sheikh Ammar praised the UAE Cybersecurity Council for its critical role in countering digital threats and protecting the nation’s digital ecosystem.
He emphasised that cybersecurity is fundamental to building a sustainable digital economy and ensuring economic and social stability, especially in light of accelerating digital transformation.
Sheikh Ammar reaffirmed the Ajman Government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that develop national talent and build cybersecurity competencies. He also stressed the importance of adopting global best practices and fostering local and international cooperation to build a secure and future-ready digital environment that enhances sustainable development and investor confidence.
The meeting also explored the role of cloud computing and digital infrastructure in driving key sectors forward and improving the quality and accessibility of digital government services.
Dr Al Kuwaiti noted that digital transformation is now a strategic necessity, with cloud technologies serving as a vital foundation for storing, managing, and analysing data. He highlighted the operational efficiencies, cost savings, and service flexibility enabled by cloud solutions, which support innovation and future-oriented services.
Dr Ohoud Shehail highlighted that investment in digital solutions and artificial intelligence is a key pillar in positioning Ajman as one of the leading smart cities in the region. These efforts, she said, contribute to boosting the sustainability and effectiveness of government services, while aligning with the UAE’s national vision for a safe and innovative digital future.
