Sharjah Club discuss ‘Our Extraordinary Holiday’ evaluation terms

Sharjah 24: The organizing committee of the Sharjah Summer Sports Program "Our Extraordinary Holiday," held annually by the Sharjah Sports Council, reviewed the conditions for participation and the mechanisms and criteria for evaluating candidates for the 2025 edition. The workshop was held at the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club. Bakhit Saeed Al Qurs, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and other committee members participated in the workshop. Representatives of the sports and specialized clubs participating in the program, which will run from June 30 to the end of July, also attended.

The workshop included an explanation of the evaluation guide and its criteria by Khaled Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Evaluation Committee, and Dr. Hani Al Qasim, a member of the committee. The evaluation percentages were reviewed, which are: 10% for the creative initiative, 20% for joint competitions, 30% for the application file, and 40% for the field visit. The participation categories are: first, general excellence, second, best sports club, third, best specialized club, fourth, joint competitions, and fifth, best creative initiative. In total, nine awards will be presented. The attendees were also briefed on how to estimate the percentages and scores for each of the four evaluation elements.
