He noted that the cane serves as an extension of their senses and helps communicate their need for assistance, enabling easier mobility in various environments.
The event featured a dialogue session titled "My Cane," where visually impaired individuals shared their personal experiences from their lives and workplaces. Fawzy also mentioned that the international company "Citizen" collaborated with the city to create a specialised watch for the visually impaired, which promotes independence. They donated several of these watches to participants with visual disabilities.
