Sharjah 24: The third edition of the Skills Challenge, organised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), kicked off Monday in Sharjah and will run until October 31. The event takes place in 13 locations across the UAE, aiming to enhance creativity among high school and university students and prepare them for national and international competitions.
This year, over 900 students aged 16-21 will participate, with those in the aircraft engine maintenance category eligible up to age 24. Competitors will engage in 20 categories of engineering, technical, and vocational skills, gaining insights into the technical and vocational education sector while enhancing their practical skills through hands-on training.

These initiatives align with the Centre’s vision to provide Emirati youth with training opportunities, develop their skills, and prepare them for future success.
