Sharjah24: Her Excellency Dr. Hala Al-Said, Economic Development Advisor to the President of Egypt and former Minister of Planning and Economic Development, emphasized during the closing day of the Regional Data and Community Development Forum, the importance of data quality in building sustainable developmental civilizations. She stated that accurate and up-to-date data are among the most significant tools that enable governments to make strategic decisions that contribute to advancing economic and social development.
Dr. Hala Al-Said reinforced the importance of data quality in supporting sustainable development and making strategic decisions that contribute to economic and social progress during the conclusion of the Regional Data and Community Development Forum, organized by the Department of Statistics in Sharjah.
In a special statement to "Sharjah 24," Dr. Hala Al-Said explained that countries with high-quality data can direct their investments more effectively and improve the management of their natural and human resources to achieve sustainable development goals. Furthermore, data quality enhances government transparency and improves engagement with communities.
She added that adopting modern methodologies for data collection and analysis, with a focus on collaboration between governments and the private sector, ensures the integration of data, which is essential for achieving development in various fields.
