Sharjah24: Eman Bushalibi, Director of Sharjah Public Libraries, announced the launch of the Sharjah Library Award Forum on Monday at the Sharjah Book Authority, which will run for two days.
Bushalibi emphasized that the Sharjah Library Award Forum has commenced at the Sharjah Book Authority. This award has been celebrated for 24 years, and this is the third gathering held in conjunction with the award to honor the winners and discuss the winning research, as well as to recognize the best libraries and information centers in the Arab world and celebrate best practices in this sector.
She added to Sharjah 24 that the program will extend over two days and will continue until tomorrow. A subsequent training program will be organized in collaboration with Khorfakkan and Sharjah Universities, supported by the Emirates Association for Libraries and Information. She invited all librarians and specialists in this field to attend the program due to the importance of the topics being discussed and to continue the dialogue on changes and updates in the sector, as such discussions foster innovation and creativity.
