Inspiring Experiences
Participating in the session were the "Ataa Hamdan Volunteer Team," winners of the Best Volunteer Initiative award, who shared their distinguished experience, which received much appreciation and acclaim.
Also attending was the "Ilmni Management Consulting and Training Center," which presented its experience that led to winning the Best Volunteer Initiative award.
The Friends of Cancer Patients Association, awarded for being the Best Organization Creating Volunteer Opportunities, also participated by showcasing their methods for empowering volunteers and providing them with unique opportunities to support cancer patients.
Providing Support
On this occasion, Fatima Mousa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, stated that the experiences shared by the award winners aim to exchange knowledge and highlight success stories that can inspire participants in the upcoming cycle.
The Executive Director noted that this initiative was in response to public suggestions and requests, aiming to benefit from others' experiences and enhance skills when submitting their files for the award.
Fatima expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation to the organizations that shared their experiences and expertise for the benefit of others, emphasizing that this step significantly contributes to enhancing the path of voluntary work and solidifying social responsibility.
She explained that this session is part of the award's strategy to promote a culture of volunteering and establish it as a core community value, alongside providing technical and advisory support for those wishing to participate in the next cycle. She hopes that the experiences of previous winners will serve as a source of inspiration for everyone.
