SBA explores cutting-edge tech at IBC 2024

Sharjah24: A delegation from the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) attended the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC 2024 ) in Amsterdam from September 13 to 16, underscoring its dedication to leading technological advancements in television and radio broadcasting.
The upcoming event stands out as a premier global gathering for satellite broadcasting and media production technologies, attracting participation from industry leaders and developers across more than 170 countries.

The delegation's visit included a tour of the exhibition, where they examined the latest innovations in television broadcasting equipment and advanced cameras, marking a significant advancement in image quality and production accuracy. 

The tour featured a focus on advanced artificial intelligence solutions that improve picture and sound quality, alongside cloud broadcasting technology, which is transforming the management and operation of media content.

The SBA’s delegation, including several dignitaries, met with several participating companies to discuss potential collaboration opportunities. This initiative goes along with the Authority's ongoing efforts to enhance its systems and infrastructure in response to the fast-evolving media landscape, ensuring the provision of high-quality content to the public, in accordance with the insightful vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

The exhibition serves as a significant venue for exploring the latest innovations in broadcasting and filming. It presents an excellent opportunity for attendees to engage with leading manufacturers and share insights and expertise that advance the media industry. 

The Authority confirms that its engineers and staff will be present at this much-anticipated annual event, attracting significant interest from television and radio stations around the globe.
