Sharjah24 ; On Monday, Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, honoured Adel Khaled, the club's Olympic sailing athlete, for earning six gold medals, two silver medals, and a bronze medal at international championships in Morocco, Sweden, and Germany.
Salem Al Khayyal, a member of the club's board of directors and chairman of the Individual Sports and Talents Care Committee, and Captain Najib Pasha, the coach of Al Hamriyah's modern sailing squad, were both in attendance at the event.
Al Shamsi lauded the contemporary sailing squad's administrative and technical teams, emphasising the club's continuous support for outstanding athletes who will guarantee Al Hamriyah's name continues to shine in both national and international arenas.
Adel Khaled thanked the board, stating that the accolade represents Chairman Hamid Al Shamsi's devotion to the club's sports and players.
