IGCF launches COMMS Prog as part of pre-emptive activities

Sharjah24: Director of the Training Department at the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, Hoda Salem Al Dah, has announced the commencement of the "COMMS" programme. It is designed as part of the preparatory activities for the International Government Communication Forum 2024 (IGCF), offers a diverse range of media workshops. These workshops have garnered participation from numerous media students representing various universities in the country.

In an exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24," Al Dah articulated that the program aims to deliver a comprehensive set of media insights, with presentations from distinguished lecturers in the sphere of government communication. This initiative aligns with the Media Bureau's concerted efforts to enhance the skill sets of students, equipping them for substantive engagement in the media domain.

The Director of the Training Department emphasized that the "COMMS" endeavors to empower students with a profound comprehension of media and communication competencies, essentially arming them with the requisite expertise to emerge as leaders in the realm of government communication. The programme encompasses a series of scholarly workshops and lectures encompassing diverse facets of media and government communication.
