Sharjah24: On Thursday, the 11th edition of the "Dibba Al Hisn Salt and Marine Fishing Festival" will commence in Dibba Al Hisn. The festival, organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council, and Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, will be held for four consecutive days. It will encompass the participation of private enterprises and salt-related retail outlets, along with local families engaged in production.
The upcoming festival will showcase various aspects of the traditional culture of the UAE. Visitors can expect to learn about Emirati heritage through interactive workshops and activities. These will include demonstrations of traditional professions such as salt production, as well as folkloric performances and music that celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the region.

It is held every year to boost the economy, trade, and tourism in the Eastern Region. It's also a time to honor the long-standing maritime traditions and industries of the Emirates. The event celebrates the heritage of traditional maritime professions and industries that have been passed down through generations.

The festival is open every day from 9 am to 9 pm until September 1. There are lots of fun things to do, like watching shows and competitions about the ocean, and you might even win some cool prizes. Plus, there are interesting activities and workshops about fish and making salted fish. It's a great place to have fun and learn something new.
