Sharjah 24: Bani Yas secured a 2-0 victory over Al Jazira on Saturday at Bani Yas Stadium in Abu Dhabi, earning their first three points in the ADNOC Pro League, while Al Jazira remains without points.
Juan Bauza opened the scoring for Bani Yas in the 55th minute, followed by Youssoufou Nketih's goal in the 77th minute.
This win marks Bani Yas' first triumph over Al Jazira since February 2019 and Al Jazira's first opening-round loss since the 2015-2016 season.
