Sharjah24 – WAM: Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, attended today a reception hosted by Alfonso Ferdinand, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of his country's National Day.
Present at the event held at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, were Abdul Aziz Al Neyadi, the Director of East Asia and Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior UAE officials, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the UAE, and members of the Filipino community.
In his remarks on the occasion, Ambassador Alfonso Ferdinand praised the wise policy of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the relations between both countries. He stressed his country's keenness to further strengthen cooperation with the UAE across all fronts.
He also highlighted achievements made by the UAE in different sectors.
