The Council approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sharjah's Human Resources Department and the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR). This MoU will allow them to utilize the "Jahiz" platform.
The Council reviewed the amendments proposed by the Sharjah Consultative Councilregarding the draft law for the establishment and regulation of the Rental Disputes Center in Sharjah. The proposed changes aim to enhance the existing legal framework and integrate valuable input for the benefit of the community. The Council has decided to submit the draft law to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for the final stage of the legislative process.
The Council received the extensive report on the advancements in career development initiatives within the Sharjah Human Resources Department during the first half of 2024. The report highlighted a strong emphasis on training programs aimed at enhancing employee productivity across various sectors. These programs are implemented in partnership with government bodies and international institutions that specialise in training and development.
The report revealed that, in the first half of 2024, a total of 155 training programs and 38 vital programs were successfully carried out, benefiting a significant number of 4,249 employees throughout the Emirate of Sharjah.
The career development efforts included specialised programs designed to government entities' needs, along with comprehensive training on HR regulations and systems. as well as the "Masar" project for new employee orientation, which benefited 563 employees.
