Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, confirmed that the summer programme achieved great success in its first edition.
More than 3382 participants registered in person and remotely in different courses presented by competent specialists in the restoration of Quranic manuscripts, methods of preserving them, the basics of the science of Tajweed, Quranic calligraphy and drawing course, and methods of developing vocal performance.
This came during His Excellency Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji speech delivered at the closing ceremony of the first community summer programme of the academy, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary-General, department directors, employees, and a large number of participants.
Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji said that the programme comes within the mission of the academy aimed at conveying and consolidating human values, Arab and Islamic identity, and as an extension of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for the Holy Quran academy to be a beacon of scientific creativity for the advancement of humanity and its culture, which contributes to the development process.
Al Tunaiji pointed out that the academy contributes to consolidating Sharjah's position as a civilised destination that presented a bright image of the history of the Holy Quran and its sciences.
He added that the summer programme achieved great success in its first edition; as more than 3382 participants registered in person and remotely, in the different courses presented by competent specialists; the number of attendees in all courses exceeded 1082 participants, while the number of remote participants exceeded 2300.
Al Tunaiji explained that the summer activities of the academy included the "Future Guide" programme in its second edition, which contributes to qualifying participants, developing their capabilities, and preparing them in the field of museum guidance. 45 participants joined the programme, and were able to gain kills that enriched their museum experiences and enhanced their ability to guide.
At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, honoured the programme participants.
