Sharjah24: The Professional Support Program at the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), in collaboration with the Human Resources Department in Sharjah, organised a recruitment event on Thursday with the Majid Al Futtaim Group for job seekers eligible for social security benefits from programme participants. The event took place at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah.
On this occasion, Amina Al Hammadi, Director of the Professional Support Programme, expressed gratitude to the Majid Al Futtaim Group for their ongoing cooperation and for providing numerous job opportunities for department affiliates. This marks the third collaboration with them, driven by the principles of partnership and social responsibility.
Al Hammadi stated that 62 affiliates holding high school diplomas aged between 18 and 45 were invited to participate in interviews to secure job opportunities offered by the Majid Al Futtaim Group. Job opportunities were available across various sectors including retail, entertainment, real estate, contracting, lifestyle, and others, all of which were administrative roles suitable for high school diploma holders.
The aim of these interviews is to empower individuals facing difficulties in obtaining employment due to age or educational qualifications, thereby improving their living standards and providing employment opportunities. This initiative also fosters social responsibility between government and private institutions.
Available positions include cashiers and customer service roles in Dubai and Sharjah, with salaries ranging from AED 8,000 to AED 10,400. All vacancies include government support benefits and Nafis programme.
