Sharjah 24: On Monday, August 12, 2024, Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club held workshop titled "Empowering Youth and Innovation in Sports" to mark International Youth Day.
The workshop was presented by Engineer Ali Al Muhairi, a board member and head of the cultural and community committee at the club.
Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, his Deputy Ahmed Al Ketbi, and Executive Director Mr Ahmed Al Shamsi, along with club staff and members.
The workshop featured three sessions on artificial intelligence (AI) in sports. The first session focused on AI's role in enhancing athletic performance, the second on entrepreneurial opportunities in sports for youth, and the third on how AI is transforming the future of sports.
Engineer Al Muhairi commented that the workshop was productive and engaging, with active participation from attendees, particularly those involved in both individual and team sports. He emphasized that the workshop reflects Al Hamriyah Club's commitment to keeping its members informed about the latest technological advancements like AI and how to effectively leverage them for their benefit.
