Sharjah 24: Sharjah City Municipality (SM) has announced the third edition of the "Future Innovators" programme, which will take place from August 5 to 15, as part of its objective to increase community participation and share its experience in a variety of municipal disciplines.
The municipality's innovation staff leads the program, which aims to prepare students for the job market through specialized education.

It focusses on high school students aged 15 to 17, providing them with a one-of-a-kind training experience that simulates real-life circumstances and helps them develop their talents.

Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality (SM), stated that the programme reflects the municipality's approach to training diverse student groups, enriching their knowledge through field experiences, visits to various sectors and departments within the municipality, and learning from the expertise of its employees.

The curriculum complements the municipality's responsibility in human resource development by providing ongoing training and workshops.

According to Reem Abdullah Al Rusi, Director of the Human Resources Department and Head of the Innovation Team at Sharjah Municipality, students receive training specific to their chosen specializations, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.

Exciting innovation workshops and a positive, encouraging environment enable students to develop the necessary professional skills and inventive knowledge base, preparing them for further education and eventual employment.

Al Rusi went on to say that the municipality hopes to foster curiosity, scientific research, creativity, and future planning excellence through these comprehensive workshops offered to students over the summer, ensuring that they make the best use of their time within an innovative educational framework equipped with the necessary tools and experienced teams.
