Sharjah handball gears up for new season with champion’s persona

Sharjah24: The Handball Administrative Body of the Group Games Department of Sharjah Sports Club held its first meeting, before the start of the new season 2024-2025, on Wednesday evening, at the club’s headquarters in Samnan, headed by Jassim Mohammed, a member of the Group Games Department and Handball Supervisor, and in the presence of Badr Hussein Al Hammadi, Supervisor of the Age Groups, Ali Al Marzouqi, Director of the Men’s Team, and all the club’s handball team administrators.
The handball supervisor conveyed the regards of Mohammed Obaid Al Hussan, Member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Club and Head of the Group Games Department, to the administrative, technical, and medical handball personnel along with all players. The supervisor emphasized the department head's unwavering support for them, urging them to continue their efforts to uphold the remarkable successes attained by the handball team throughout previous seasons.

Jassim Mohammed also expressed his gratitude to Youssef Ahmed, the former supervisor of the age groups, and Jaber Asad, the administrator of the men’s handball team, for their dedicated contributions to the team.

The Group Games Department welcomed Badr Hussein Al Hammadi, the new age groups supervisor, and Suleiman Dawood, the men’s team administrator. They expressed their best wishes for success and anticipated significant contributions from them.

The handball team supervisor has emphasized the organization's commitment to improving the administrative and technical infrastructure to align with the club's strategic objectives. The focus is on nurturing internal talent to strengthen the national and men's teams, taking advantage of the club's strong track record and continued success in handball at the state level. This encompasses an impressive tally of 46 local and international titles for the first team, along with a consistently strong showing across all age categories.

In the meeting, administrative roles were assigned for all handball teams, and comprehensive plans and preparations for the forthcoming training sessions starting on August 3 were deliberated to gear up for the 2024-2025 sports season schedule.

The upcoming period will include heightened administrative and technical coordination meetings with the men's team and the age groups sector. These meetings aim to evaluate the teams' needs and implement new technical gear and coaching staff.
