CRPC honours 88 outstanding students

Sharjah 24: The Central Region Parents Council (CRPC) of the Districts Affairs Department honoured 88 outstanding male and female students and 19 top officials from various schools in the Central Region at the closing ceremony of the council’s award for the 2024 academic year.
The ceremony, which was held at the headquarters of the Cultural Centre in Al Dhaid, on Wednesday, was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Districts Affairs Department, Sheikh Mohammed Maadhad bin Huwaiden, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Al Kaboori, Director of the Districts Affairs Department, and His Excellency Rashid Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Central Region Parents Council. In addition to the heads and directors of government departments and institutions in the Central Region, notables and residents of the region, administrative and educational staff, and parents of students.

The ceremony began with a welcome speech from the ceremony’s media host, Hamed Al Mohammadi, then His Excellency Rashid Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Central Region Parents Council, delivered a speech expressing his thanks to all attendees and congratulating the honoured students on their achievements.

Al Mahyan stressed the importance of supporting education and encouraging students to excel, expressing his appreciation for the country’s wise leadership for its great role in adopting education as a strategic priority. He also thanked the Districts Affairs Department for its continued support of thecCouncil and all the activities and programmes it organises.

Walid Nasser, Director of Mleiha Boys School, gave a speech on behalf of the honoured top officials of schools, in which he praised the role of the council in supporting the educational process and promoting effective communication between schools and parents.

He also expressed his deep thanks for all the efforts made in the region, congratulating the distinguished students who achieved success in their educational career.

This was followed by a speech by the outstanding student, Shamma Al Jazii, who expressed her pride and happiness in receiving this honour, and thanked the parents, the school, and the council, praising the efforts made by everyone to support her educational career and achieve this achievement.

At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sheikh Mohammed Maadhad bin Howeiden, and His Excellency Rashid Al Mahyan honoured the outstanding students and distinguished top officials.
