Sharjah 24: Dr. Adnan Salloum, expert in performing arts at the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, stated that the Puppet Arts Centre came in response to the aspirations of young people to have a role in creative production.
He explained that the trial opening of the Puppet Arts Centre, on Tuesday, in the Heart of Sharjah, aims to introduce the public to the various techniques of puppet arts so that they can present stories that will take them to the international level, indicating that the centre will develop the skills of members and visitors.
He pointed out, in statements to “Sharjah 24,” that after a long experience with Rubu’ Qarn Theatre and Performing Arts, we realised the importance of puppet arts and that there should be a specialised centre for it.
