Rubu’ Qarn launches “unleashing our creative imaginations” camp

In the Imagination and Creativity Camp, participants will be able to engage in many in-depth theatrical workshops and exercises, in the presence of capable and highly qualified trainers from several countries, such as Palestine, Tunisia, and also from China. The Imagination and Creativity Camp is not only limited to the skill of acting on stage, but also develops skills such as sensory, physical, cognitive, and leadership skills. In the first phase, the focus will be on theatre technology, such as sound and lighting techniques, followed by the second phase, which will focus on various types of puppetry arts, and finally the third phase, which will include mime arts, which in turn cross language barriers and can deliver information to the viewer smoothly.

It is worth noting that the aim of this camp is to consolidate the importance of theatre among the promising generation and provide them with the opportunity to express themselves using their creative imaginations. Those interested in the field of theatre of all ages can enrol in the Rubu’ Qarn Theatre and Performing Arts to receive support and guidance from a specialised theatre team.

About the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation
Nearly 40 years ago, specifically in 1985, the cultural project of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, was launched aiming to invest in people, by establishing centres in all suburbs of the emirate for children and adolescents providing aafe environment to practice their hobbies, and hone their abilities.

The wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, added to this march establishing the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for creating leaders and innovators, the first Arab and regional educational institution working hand in hand with society to build conscious and influential generations, through programmes and activities in different fields, that enrich knowledge, experiences and skills, following the individual through a journey extending over 25 years of their life, hence the name of the institution Rubu’ Qarn (a Quarter Century).
