This year's focus will be on domestic tourism and Gulf Cooperation Council states, according to Al Midfa, through a complete joint campaign planned in terms of marketing, promotion, advertising, contests, and discounts, targeting tourists from inside the UAE and GCC countries.
He emphasised that the Sharjah Summer Festival and its promotional activities are among the most important marketing initiatives aimed at helping retail sectors, promoting Sharjah's tourist attractions, and furthering the emirate's mission to improve retail and family tourism.
