Sharjah24: The Arab Cultural Club in Sharjah has an exciting lineup for its 2024 summer season, featuring cultural evenings, exhibitions, and artistic workshops. The club aims to cater to the diverse interests of its audience by offering enriching intellectual content related to culture and the arts, enhancing their overall experience and awareness.
Tuesday afternoon, the club's Board convened for its regular session and gave the green light to its summer program. Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz, the Board's Chairman; Ali Al Mughni, the Vice Chairman; Mohamed Ould Mohamed Salem, a Board Member; Ibrahim Saeed Butti, the Club Administration Director, and Khalifa Al Shimi, in charge of Technical Activities, were present at the session.

Omar Abdel Aziz highlighted the club's commitment, as part of the Department of Culture, to enhancing the cultural landscape by organizing a variety of literary and artistic activities. This involves attracting a select group of writers and intellectuals, and giving them the platform to produce high-quality content on a range of subjects. These efforts align with the club's goal to reflect the Department of Culture's initiatives in Sharjah's Government, fostering an environment that fosters meaningful content, promotes cultural development, nurtures individual talents, and sparks creativity.

Al Naji's summer 2024 program features 7 cultural evenings. The first event kicked off on June 6th with a poetry evening titled "Burqa Al Badr" by poets Mohammed Al Azzam and Heba Al Faqi.

An exhibition featuring the artist Shihab Al Kaabi, another showcasing the work of the sculptor Tamam Darwish, and an additional exhibition highlighting the art of Zulfi Rasheed will be part of the artistic program. Also included in the program are an exhibition featuring the sculptor Afif Agha and another showcasing the art of Faisal Diab. Additionally, the program will offer six specialized art workshops, some tailored for children and others geared toward the general public.
