Amal Al Shamsi, a master's student, emphasised the symbiotic relationship between media and culture. Sara Abdul Majid, a bachelor's and master's degree holder in Arabic language and communication, said that digital media has greatly advanced human accomplishments and impacted today's youth, who are more than just passive viewers of media.
According to UoS student Maha Al Zarouni, digital media, if used properly, may be a powerful tool for beneficial cultural and information dissemination.
Everyone who took part in the discussion stressed the need to combat the efforts of fame-seekers using digital media to disseminate false information and harmful experiences that impact not just young people but society at large by highlighting Arabic culture, identity, values, and positive content for young people.
The audience included media experts, academics, and Al Qasimia University students, all of whom had the opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions after the session concluded.
