Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, congratulated Dr. Maryam Tarish Al Marri from the Police Research Centre, a researcher specialising in human resources, and a senior trainer in human resources development, on the publication of her fifth book titled: “Sustainability between modernisation and change and human resources between development and modernisation.”
Al Shamsi praised Al Marri’s perseverance and continuous efforts that enrich human minds and increase their intellectual perceptions in understanding sustainability and its updates, and patterns of developing human resources.
The book focuses on the concept of sustainability and its importance for accessing prosperous natural environmental resources and their preservation, human resources that seek to improve and modernise systems, the most important current practices using new technologies and innovations, in addition to comprehensive transformations in policies and organisational structures to enhance performance and its effectiveness, thus achieving sustainability, and the importance of compatibility between modernisation and change to protect the environment and preserve its resources to build a prosperous future for future generations.
Dr. Maryam Al Marri expressed her thanks and gratitude to Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi and to the General Command of Sharjah Police for their continued support, and the attention they pay to members of the command, encouraging them and providing them with all opportunities to continue issuing scientific books that strengthen the security system, reaching the highest standards of excellence in all areas of police work.
