Sharjah24: Hameed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Cultural and Sports Board of Al Hamriyah Club, led an initiative on Friday to identify athletic potential in local schools for individual sports.

The delegation for the project included the president, the individual sports coaches of Al Hamriyah Club, and Mr. Salem Al Khayyal, a member of the club's board of directors.

During today's visit to Al Hamriyah School, the club's delegation was warmly received by Mr. Jasim Al Shamsi, the school's director. He expressed his appreciation for the club's initiative, highlighting their dedication to the youth in the area.

Hameed Al Shamsi expressed gratitude to the schools in the Al Hamriyah area for their enthusiastic response to the club's initiative. He emphasised the schools' commitment to the students' well-being and their encouragement of sports participation, recognising the positive effects it has on both their health and academic performance.

The Chairman highlighted that this initiative or workshop on individual sports is part of the club's plan to identify sports talents, with the goal of involving them into the club, honing their skills towards achieving further future accomplishments and championships.

The initiative by Al Hamriyah Club received an enthusiastic welcome from the students, who showed keen interest in joining the club and participating in its various individual sports.
