Sharjah24: After the recent weather conditions that caused extensive damage to the roads in Sharjah, the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has begun a comprehensive campaign to repair and restore them.
These endeavours are part of a larger plan to collaborate with the Initiatives Implementation Authority in order to prioritise repairs based on damage assessments and guarantee user safety.
In order to respond quickly to accidents or worsening road conditions, the authority uses an upgraded traffic control room to monitor roads all day, every day. Congestion and user discomfort are minimised by effective vehicle and field team routing.
Making the infrastructure more resistant to severe weather and increasing safety is the key goal of the authority's efforts. Road users can have faith in the authority's capacity to keep them safe since specialised teams work around the clock to make sure the roads are in good repair and can handle any potential problems.
