Sharjah24: Rashid Mal Allah Al Hosani, Deputy Head of the Commercial Control Department at the Sharjah Economic Development Department, stated that the department has intensified inspections and increased patrols on all economic establishments and commercial markets to ensure compliance with Sharjah Economic Department laws and regulations.
This is intended to ensure that the public receives the best possible service in preparation for the approaching Al-Fitr Eid holiday.

He went on to explain to Sharjah 24 that these inspection campaigns are conducted to ensure that economic activities are carried out without violations, in line with the Sharjah Economic Development Department's strategic objectives of supporting and enhancing the emirate's economic development process. The campaigns targeted a variety of economic and commercial sectors, including food services, gold markets, retail, and others.

According to Al Hosani, the Sharjah Economic Development Department has trained a number of commercial officers to carry out these campaigns throughout Sharjah's numerous marketplaces. They inspected and calibrated high- and low-precision scales to verify their accuracy. The agency urges the public to submit any observations on its internet platform and contact the department directly.
