Sharjah24: Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), in cooperation with Sharjah Police, organized a training program entitled "Crime Scene", with the participation of 33 commercial officers. The program aimed to provide training and qualification for commercial officers to imprve their skills, according to the latest data aimed at enhancing the participants' ability to the importance of evidence resulting from the crime scene, refining their skills in the field and introducing them to technical procedures in inspecting the crime scene.
The program, which was held at SEDD headquarter, highlighted number of topics, most notably the definition of the crime scene, and the mechanisms that enhance the ability of commercial officers to detect the circumstances of the crime scene, in order to raise their capabilities in monitoring information that threatens the safety of society. Likely, the program included mechanisms of the crime scene team and familiarized them with the technical procedures for inspecting the crime scene. This aimed at strengthening and qualifying the cadres of commercial officers with professional and legal knowledge. All of this will enhance the technical and professional level of the employees, which in turn contributes to creating a qualitative shift in developing the work mechanism and improving performance, which is reflected in the quality of the services provided.
Commenting on that, Hamad Ali Abdulla Al Mahmoud, SEDD Chairman, stressed that SEDD, through its strategic plan, pays great attention to building an innovative and creative human cadre empowered with knowledge of all modern sciences to keep pace with future global developments, which have a positive impact on supporting the sustainability of the knowledge-based economy.
Also, Al Mahmoud pointed out that such programs are in line with the Department's mission, through which it aims to achieve comprehensive economic development and improve a competitive business environment by strengthening institutional capabilities to reach a competitive, diversified and sustainable economy that achieves the welfare of the business community in cooperation with strategic partners.
At the end of the workshop, Al Mahmoud ,SEDD Chairman honored the lecturer concerned with presenting the workshop, appreciating his efforts in providing the latest information and latest developments in this field. He also praised the efforts made by Sharjah Police General Headquarters in preparing and implementing distinguished training programs to qualify human cadres and raise efficiency, readiness and security awareness among various segments of society.
