DIAS distributes 180,000 copies of Quran

Sharjah24: Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah (DIAS) has announced the distribution of 180,000 copies of the Noble Quran. The department oversaw the printing of these copies as a charitable endowment in memory of the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. The copies were distributed to mosques, the general public, government departments, organizations, institutions, and Quran memorization centers.
Abdullah Allah Khalifa Yaaroub Al Subousi, the Chairman of Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah, praised the unlimited support given by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi,  Supreme Council Member and the Ruler of Sharjah, to the department and its noble work in the emirate, including the care for the Book of Allah, its printing, dissemination, and service of the Noble Quran in various educational fields, as well as utilizing modern technologies to serve the Quran and those interested in it.

Al Subousi pointed out that the Quran was printed in the Ottoman script, according to the Hafs recitation, under the supervision of a verification committee within the department, which includes a group of scholars specialized in recitation and the sciences of the Noble Quran.

The printed copies are distinguished by their high paper quality and a unique identity that sets them apart from other editions. They are available in different colors and sizes to cater to all segments of society, and they include the meanings of the vocabulary of the Noble Quran.
