SFD employees distribute Iftar meals

Sharjah24: As part of its efforts to promote the values of giving and participation in charitable work among its employees, Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) participated in the Ramadan community initiative organized by Al Ansari Exchange to distribute Iftar meals throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Employees from the department volunteered to support the initiative and distribute the meals before the Maghrib prayer at the Al Ansari Exchange branch in the Nahda area of Sharjah. This stems from the importance of contributing to helping different segments of society which reflect their humanity sense .

Huda Al-Yasi, Director of Financial System Management at the Sharjah Finance Department, said, "The participation of many employees from the department in this Ramadan initiative sends a message that emphasizes the importance of volunteering as a noble societal and cultural value that the authentic Emirati society has embraced since ancient times. It is rooted in the principles of our noble Islamic religion and has fostered social cohesion with various nationalities that enjoy the generosity of the UAE."

She added that the Sharjah Finance Department always seeks to strengthen and activate its strategic partnerships with the government and private sectors in order to adopt and launch humanitarian and charitable initiatives that serve different segments of society, getting closer to individuals and families to meet their needs and stand by them in various situations and circumstances they may go through.

She stated that the department takes pride in the achievements and efforts of its volunteer workforce, which has succeeded in making a remarkable contribution by participating in the success of many internal and external community events and initiatives, including activities held during the holy month of Ramadan. She also expressed her deep appreciation to Al Ansari Exchange for continuing to implement this initiative every year, which brings joy and happiness to the fasting individuals.

On his part, Ali Al Najjar, the Chief Executive Officer of Operations at Al Ansari Exchange, said, "In line with our social responsibility, Al Ansari Exchange is keen on organizing initiatives that promote the values of cooperation and solidarity among members of society, especially during the holy month. We extend our thanks to the Finance Department in Sharjah and appreciate the extensive participation of their staff in our Ramadan initiative this year. We look forward to enhancing our cooperation in initiatives and events that leave a positive impact on our society. We are pleased to witness the success and positive echoes of the initiative, contributing to the promotion of the culture of volunteering and the consolidation of the values of sacrifice and giving inherent in the Emirati society.
