Sharjah 24: Wasit Suburb Council, affiliated with Sharjah Department of Suburbs Affairs (SDSA), distributed “Mir Ramadan” (Ramadan food supplies) to 120 needy families from the suburb’s residents, in cooperation with Sharjah Charity International (SCI).
This step comes within the framework of the Council’s initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, to consolidate the values of giving, compassion, cohesion and solidarity, as Wasit Suburb Council seeks to provide support and assistance to needy families and enhance community participation with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to the residents of the suburb.
Wasit Suburb Council expressed its great keenness to address the needs of the people of the suburb through preparing lists of families to receive support, in coordination with SCI to ensure that aid reaches those in need in an effective and orderly manner.
